There are 4 community teams at Kirkley & Pakefield FC:
- Kirkley & Pakefield B
- Kirkley & Pakefield Veterans
- Kirkley & Pakefield Veterans Reserves
- Kirkley & Pakefield Ladies
Kirkley & Pakefield FC B
Managed by Stephen Gallagher and Dale Andrews, the team played in Division 2 in 2013/14 and actually won the championship with 63 points, 4 points ahead of 2nd place (W.E.M.P.). Unfortunately, the teams evolution in Division 1 was not vey bright because the team finished the 2015/16 season on the 12th position. Kirkley & Pakefield FC B had only 4 wins and 3 draws the entire season. They lost the rest of the matches, some of them pretty badly. For example, the team lost against Oulton Broad 0-22, against Mufford & Wrentham FC 11-1 and against AC Mill Lane with 2-7. Still, they had a nice win against Southold Town 5-1.
Kirkley & Pakefield FC Veterans
Having a dedicated team for veterans proves that the club appreciates what these people have done for their country. Under the guidance of David Lees, the team plays in the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans League together with 3 other teams: Norwich Trafford, Woodbridge Town and Framlingham Town. They finished the 2013/14 season 3rd but we have little information about their more recent activity.
Kirkley & Pakefield FC Veterans Reserves
Managed by Neil Dale, the team played in the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans League Div 3 East. In 2013/14 they finished 5th out of 6 positions. Their competitors were Ispwich Hospitals, Coplestonians, Mutford & Wrentham, The Old Times Veterans and The Dutchman. If you analyze their evolution during the season, you will see they did ok: our veterans won 4 games, lost 5 and got 1 draw.
Kirkley & Pakefield FC Ladies
The team is managed by Sarah Cunningham and coached by Luke Hart. Shauna Brunton-O’Neill is the goalkeeper and she plays together with:
- 8 defenders (Jodie Stephenson, Maria Palmer, Abbie Knights, Sue-Lyn King, Sianne Davis, Kylie Butler, Samantha Brown, and Peta Belson)
- 10 midfielders (Jody Wells, Zolania Warford, Lisa Sissen, Selina Rowland, Kate Harris, Rosanna Fletcher, Jodie Fewkes, Gemma Farman, Sarah Cunningham and Jodie Ashman)
- 2 attackers (Sophie Martin and Nikki Wigg).
Our ladies won the Women’s Division 2 beating 7 other teams who finished the season in this order: North Walsham Angels Ladies, Sprowton Ladies, Bohemians Ladies, Red Rose Ladies, Stalham Town Ladies, Bungay Town Ladies Reserves, and Morley Ladies. Kirkley & Pakefield FC Ladies won with 37 points and managed not to lose a single game during the season. They won 12 out of 13 matches, the last one being a draw. Congratulations ladies!
